A Panama City man died in a two-vehicle crash on State Road 77 early Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
Cory Harrison, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 12:05 a.m. on 77 just north of Woodland Road, the FHP reported. The driver of the second vehicle, Chelse Dorman, 33, of Chipley, and Harrison’s passenger, Chelsea Jordan, 22, of Panama City, were transported to Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System with serious injuries, according to the FHP.
Dorman traveled northbound in the inside southbound lane on 77 in a 2016 Chevy Silverado, while Harrison traveled southbound in a 2000 Chevy truck, the FHP reported. The front left of the Silverado collided with the front left of Harrison’s vehicle, according to the crash report. The Silverado came to a rest in the inside travel lane and Harrison’s truck was on the west shoulder and faced northbound, the FHP reported.
All those involved in the crash were wearing seat belts, according to the report. Charges are pending investigation of the crash, the FHP said.
