No one was seriously injured Monday in a crash outside of Lucerne that involved two semitrailers and a pickup.
The crash occurred about 2:30 p.m. on Colo. 392 at Weld County Road 41, about one mile east of U.S. 85. The drivers of the semis, Edwin Morales, 22, and Perry Schild, 58, as well as two unidentified occupants of a white pickup escaped the crash without serious injuries. The passenger of the pickup was taken by ambulance to North Colorado Medical Center as a precaution, said Trooper Nate Reid, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.
Due to reports of a second crash outside of Ault, it was unclear Monday afternoon which semis Morales and Schild were driving at the time of the crash.
One semi was hauling a water tanker and traveling west on Colo. 392. That driver failed to yield to the right of way of an eastbound semi hauling silage, as it attempted to turn south onto Weld 41.
The driver of the second semi attempted to avoid a head-on collision by swerving into the westbound lane. That driver did not see the white pickup, which was traveling west on Colo. 392 directly behind the tanker.

Daytrayvion's bike is pretty banged up, but luckily, he suffered only minor injuries.
"I'm getting hit by a car, so I'm thinking I'm going to be under the car," said Daytrayvion. "(The bike) was on top of my leg. Why would you hit me and run like that?"
Officials said the truck was black and had a sticker on it, but it was unclear whether the driver was a man or woman.
