Plantation, FL : One person killed, 1 injured after two Hondas collide in Plantation on Sunday morning, December 13, 2015

Police are investigating after two Honda sedans crashed into each other in Plantation, Sunday morning, killing one driver and sending the other to the hospital.

Plantation Police and Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene in the area of Northwest 16th Street and West Sunrise Boulevard, just before 8:30 a.m. Investigators said the force of the impact caused one of the vehicles to crash against a pole.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was transported to Broward Health Medical Center in unknown condition.

Police temporarily shut down West Sunrise Boulevard near 16th Street while they investigated.
