Joplin, MO : Two motorists injured in area accidents on Thursday, 10th November 2016
A Vernon County woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 10:18 a.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 54, a half-mile east of the Kansas-Missouri state line, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Nancy R. Davisson, 43, of Nevada, was flown by medical helicopter to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.
She was driving an eastbound pickup truck that ran off the road, struck a ditch and overturned, the patrol said.
• A Webb City woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 6 p.m. Wednesday on Zora Street Road, a mile east of Joplin in Jasper County, according to the state patrol.
The patrol said the driver, Stephanie E. Logsdon, 21, was westbound when her vehicle ran off the right side of the road and into a ditch.
Logsdon suffered minor injures and was transported to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.
