ZEPHYRHILLS, FL : Missouri woman killed, one other badly hurt in Zephyrhills crash on Tuesday, 26th November, 2019

One driver was injured Tuesday morning and her passenger was killed, according to the Florida Highway Patrol, when another driver struck them while trying to turn through an intersection.

The driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck was headed south on County Road 579 southwest of Zephyrhills about 9:49 a.m., troopers said, when she turned left onto SR 56 on a flashing yellow light. A Hyundai traveling north had a green light and continued straight. The pickup hit the left front side of the Hyundai, troopers said.
