Lubbock, TX : A motorcycle vs. car crash that left two people injured in south-central Lubbock on Friday, 6th July 2018

Police on Saturday were trying to determine what prompted a motorcycle vs. car crash that left two people injured Friday night in south-central Lubbock.

Just before 11 p.m. Friday, police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a Chevrolet Camaro in the 1500 block of 82nd Street, according to Lubbock police.

The motorcycle driver, a 29-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the Camaro, a 40-year-old man, was also taken to UMC with moderate injuries. The two men were the sole occupants of their vehicles.

Officers with the LPD Accident Investigation Unit were called to scene.
