One passenger is in critical condition after a vehicle veered off Dogburn Road Tuesday night.
Police responded to a serious motor vehicle accident at 11:42 p.m. on Dogburn, just south of the Woodbridge town line. When officers arrived, they found a silver 2007 Mazda 6 off the roadway and three injured occupants nearby.
The preliminary investigation found the driver allegedly lost control while cornering, causing the vehicle to skid off the roadway and roll over, coming to rest against a tree. The 17-year-old driver and an 18-year-old passenger did not sustain life-threatening injuries, while a second 18-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle and sustained critical injures, police said. The identities of the parties have not been released yet.
The case is currently under investigation.
