A man was killed Wednesday after his vehicle struck a tree off the side of the eastbound 210 Freeway, west of Angeles Crest Highway.
Coroner’s officials described the unidentified dead man as a white man in his 30s.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 7:44 a.m.
Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Chris Reade said the vehicle’s occupant died at the scene.
CHP Officer Jennifer Cassidy said a SigAlert was issued at 8:01 a.m. for the on- and off-ramps to the eastbound 210 Freeway.
