Miami Township ,OH :Corliss H. Miller Jr., 44 killed after fatal one-car crash on Friday night ,August 28th 2015

Ohio State Highway Patrol attribute speeding as the cause of a fatal one-car crash in Miami Township on Friday night.

According to police, the one-car crash happened around 8:08 p.m. on Woodville Pike in Miami Township.

Corliss H. Miller Jr., 44, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt eastbound on Woodville, police said. When approaching a left curve, Miller's car ran off the right side of the road. He overcorrected and the car ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, police said.

Highway patrol said they suspect speed to be a contributing factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
