Mont Belvieu, TX : One person killed, another injured in three-car crash on Interstate 10 near Needlepoint Road on Sunday morning, April 19, 2015

The Texas Department of Safety is investigating a deadly crash in Mont Belvieu Sunday morning.

Police say a passenger in a pickup truck was killed while they were helping another driver with a flat tire on Interstate 10 near Needlepoint Road.

According to police, the pickup pulled over in front of the vehicle in the right-hand side of the breakdown lane.

As the passenger was helping the driver with a flat tire, a Dodge Charger traveling in the same direction veered onto the shoulder and crashed into them.
