CHARLOTTE, NC : I-85 lanes reopen in north Charlotte after crash on Wednesday, 5th June 2024

A crash on Interstate 85 southbound Wednesday morning led to three of four lanes being closed, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The lanes reopened around 6:30 a.m.
NCDOT confirmed it happened around Mile Marker 45 on I-85 south, near W.T. Harris Boulevard. One person had serious injuries, according to Medic.
