DUNCANS BRIDGE, MO : A Clarence man was injured in a crash in Monroe County on Friday, August 4, 2017

A Clarence man was injured in a Friday night crash in Monroe County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by John W. Frisbee, 82, was traveling south on Monroe County Road 1121, north of County Road 1190, at 6:52 p.m. The patrol said the vehicle drove off the road and struck a tree.

Frisbee was airlifted by Staff For Life to Boone Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, Madison Fire Department and Monroe County Ambulance Service.
