A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash involving a motorcycle and a car in Manchester on Monday night.
The Manchester fire and police departments responded to Elm and Clarke streets around 6:10 p.m. When fire crews arrived, they found the bike on fire and a man lying in the street.
Police said the motorcyclist was traveling north on Elm Street when it collided with a car traveling west from Clarke onto Elm.
The 53-year-old man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the car was not injured.
