MONROE COUNTY, MI : 19-year-old mom, 3-month-old daughter killed in crash on Saturday, 19th October 2024

A 19-year-old mom and her baby died after a crash in Michigan, according to authorities.

It happened around 8:30 a.m.morning on S. Custer Road, east of Lewis Ave., in Monroe County.

A baby girl, identified by family members as 3-month-old daughter Alanee and 19-year-old Journee Padgett died from their injuries, WTVG reported.

Authorities said Padgett was driving east when her car crossed the centerline, hitting a tractor with tandem trailers head-on.
