La PRAIRIE, IL : Beardstown man suffers minor injuries in crash northeast of La Prairie on East 3100th Street on Monday, 30th July 2018

A Beardstown man suffered minor injuries Monday morning after a truck crash northeast of La Prairie.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department said Zachary A. Norris, 26, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet S-10 about 6:38 a.m. north on East 3100th Street when he lost control of the truck on loose gravel and went into a ditch.

Norris was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.

Assisting at the scene were the Adams County Ambulance Service, the Golden Fire Department and the Clayton Fire Department.
