A man is dead after a crash on NC 16 in Wilkes County, according to North Carolina State Troopers.
According to troopers, Tyler David Williams, 23, was riding a motorcycle traveling south on NC 16. He attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone.
Williams collided with another car as it was turning left into a parking lot near Shingle Gap Road, troopers said.
