COLORADO SPRINGS, CO : 1 hospitalized after vehicle crashes in embankment on Tuesday, 16th January 2024

Firefighters helped free a person from their vehicle after it went down an embankment Tuesday morning.
CSFD posted on social media around 9:30 a.m. that crews were working at the intersection of Pring Ranch Road and Jedediah Smith Road, located in a residential area just down the block from an elementary school.
Firefighters were initially told the vehicle was on fire, but didn’t find any flames, only smoke, when they arrived on scene.
A spokesperson for the fire department confirmed at 9:50 a.m. that the person was out of the car and on the way to the hospital.
