Stonelick Township. , OH : 72 - Years woman serously injured in crash with snow plow , lost control of her vehicle on State Route 132 near Anstaett Road on Moday ,February 16th 2015

A woman was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries Monday after a collision with a snow plow in Stonelick Township.

Janet Dean, 72, lost control of her vehicle on State Route 132 near Anstaett Road at approximately 11 a.m. and slid into the center of the road and struck a snow plow operated by Michael Schmidt, 50, according to police.

Dean was transported to Bethesda North Hospital with serious injuries and Schmidt was not injured in the crash, police said.

Officials said both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The incident remains under investigation with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
