Hendry County. , FL : 10- Years old boy Critically injured in ATV Crash after his vehicle flipped and ejected from vehicle in in Hendry County on Friday , January 2nd 2015

A 10-year-old boy is in critical condition after an ATV crash in Hendry County.

It happened at the Lazy Springs ATV Park at around 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, two 10-year-old boys were riding an ATV when for unknown reasons the vehicle flipped. The driver and passenger were ejected from the ATV.

The 10-year-old passenger was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital in critical condition. He was then flown to Tampa Children's Hospital.

The 10-year-old driver was not injured.

Both boys were not wearing helmets, according to FHP.
