MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY : 61-year-old facing felony charges, another driver cited following crash on Wednesday, 31st July 2024

Two people are facing charges after a crash Wednesday afternoon.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a collision at the intersection of New Holt Road and Olivet Church Rd. around 2 p.m. on July 31.
When deputies arrived, they learned 61-year-old Dalton Chandler was driving along New Holt Rd. when he began to turn onto Olivet Church Rd. However, he turned too wide and struck another car, driven by 29-year-old Tyson Lamar of Metropolis, Ill.
Through further investigation, deputies discovered Chandler was under the influence at the time of the collision and that Lamar had a suspended operator’s license.
