HINDS COUNTY, MS : One man dead in fiery crash on Highway 18 on Tuesday, November 1st 2016

According to JPD Commander Tyree Jones, one man has been killed in a crash on Highway 18, near Springridge Road in Hinds County.

According to an eyewitness, the victim was in a car that was traveling in the wrong direction and struck a Borden milk truck head on. Another witness on the scene says the milk truck driver escaped with minor injuries and has been taken to the hospital.

The fiery crash has closed the eastbound lanes of the highway.

Firefighters are still on scene and we are working to get you more information.
