One Dead After Single Car Accident in Jones County

The Bibb County Coroner's office has confirmed one person died early Thursday morning in a single car crash.Bernadine Mbata, 53, died after her 2006 Nissan Pathfinder caught fire just before 6 a.m.She was driving to work when she lost control of her car near the intersection of Tucker Road and Idle Way Drive. Mbata was traveling alone.There is no word yet on what may have caused the accident.
