Linton,IN : Three injured in head-on collision on September, Monday 25th 2017

A two vehicle accident Monday afternoon resulted in three being transported to Greene County General Hospital for believed minor injuries.

According to an accident report filed by Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Terry Wade, the accident occurred in front of the Pizza Hut in Linton on West State Road 54 near County Road 950 West.

“Douglas Castle, 41, of Linton, who was traveling eastbound, and Joyce Muse, 75, of Lyons, who was traveling westbound, collided head on in front of Pizza Hut when Mr. Castle attempted to execute a left hand turn into the Pizza Hut parking lot,” Wade wrote.

Both Castle and Muse, along with Jeannette Weaver, 89, who was noted to be a passenger in Castle’s vehicle, were transported by Greene County EMS to GCGH with minor injuries.

Responding units included the GCSD, Linton Police Department, Linton Fire Department and Greene County EMS.
