VICTORVILLE, CA : Man ejected from vehicle in crash on Village Drive on Monday, 13th August 2018

A man was airlifted to a local trauma center Monday after he was ejected from his vehicle in a crash on Village Drive Monday afternoon, authorities said.

Reported at 3:18 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials said the man was rushed to a local hospital before he was airlifted following the incident, which occurred at the intersection of Village Drive and Tawney Ridge Lane.

According to Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jodi Miller, the crash involved a dark blue sedan headed north on Village Drive and a grey Dodge Ram pickup truck headed west on Tawney Ridge Lane.

“Witnesses state the driver of the blue sedan failed to stop at the stop sign, into the oncoming path of the truck,” Miller said.
