Concord, MA : Pickup truck crashes into Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Concord on Wednesday, 1st August 2018

A man was transported to Concord Hospital after crashing a pickup truck into the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Loudon Road on Wednesday.

Concord fire Battalion Chief Thomas Nault said the call for a vehicle into a building came in about 4:30 p.m. He said the driver suffered a medical emergency while was crossing Loudon Road, which caused the truck to strike a sedan before running into the church’s porch.

Nault said he did not know whether the driver was a man or a woman, nor did he know the nature of the medical emergency.

Police said the driver suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.
