Cambridge, MA : Three people injured after Route 2 crash in Cambridge on Monday, May 2, 2016

A 77-year-old Arlington man remains in serious condition after the driver of the car he was traveling in lost control and crashed into another car on Route 2 East in Cambridge around 1:25 p.m. Monday afternoon, according to State Police.

A 28-year-old Dorchester man was driving a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan when he lost control of the car, hitting a guardrail and then rear-ending a 2010 Toyota sedan. The driver of the Toyota was transported to Beth Israel Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Dodge was transported to Boston Medical Center with minor injuries.

The details or extent of the Dodge passenger’s injuries are not known at this time, but he remains in serious condition, according to Sgt. Tom Ryan of the State Police.
