Grayslake, IL : Six people injured in car crash in Lake County on Saturday October 3 2015

A car has crashed through the front doors of a northern Illinois church that was hosting a donation drive for a food pantry. Six people were injured and hospitalized.Lake County Sheriff's Police spokesman Christopher Covelli says none of the injuries is thought to be life-threatening. The crash happened Saturday morning at the Wildwood Presbyterian Church in Grayslake.Covelli tells the Daily Herald that the organizer of the food drive was pinned between the car bumper and a wall and had to be extricated by firefighters.He says the car was driven by a 72-year-old woman coming to the food drive.
