HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, OH : 1 dead following crash at the intersection of Lockbourne Road and London-Groveport Road on Thursday, 24th January 2019

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has identified the person killed in a crash in Hamilton Township as a woman from Galloway.

It happened Thursday, just after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Lockbourne Road and London-Groveport Road.

OSHP said 75-year-old Regena Hoover was going south on Lockbourne Road in a 2013 Kia Soul when she failed to stop at a stop sign and ran into a semi-truck going westbound.

Hoover was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner's Office.

The driver of the semi was not injured.
