Allentown, PA : Wilkes-Barre man dies after motorcycle accident on Saturday, October, 7th 2017

A Wilkes-Barre man has died from multiple blunt force injuries he suffered in an accident late last month in Schuylkill County, according to the Lehigh County coroner’s office.

Wayne J. Pearce, 56, was pronounced dead at 11:03 p.m. Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township. The death was ruled accidental.

At about 4:55 p.m.Pearce was riding a motorcycle in the 1800 block of West Penn Pike in West Penn Township when he collided with another vehicle.

In addition to the coroner’s office, the West Penn Township Police Department is conducting the investigation.
