Wausau, WI : Two people injured after a motorcycle crash on Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2016

Authorities transported the driver and passenger of a motorcycle to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash Sunday afternoon.

The crash took place in the town of Johnson at the intersection of Wisconsin 97 and Wisconsin 29, according to a Marathon County Sheriff's Department Facebook post.

The department got word of the crash just before 4 p.m. Sunday. The crash is still under investigation and additional details were not available Sunday evening.
