Greenville, S.C : 60-year-old man dies after dump truck overturns in Greenville County on Tuesday, February 2, 2016

The Greenville County Coroner released the name of the man killed after his dump truck overturned in the Upstate Tuesday.

Alvin Wallace Toney, 60, of Greer, was pronounced dead at the scene just after 1:15 p.m., Coroner Parks Evans said.

The crash was reported just after 1:10 p.m. on McKittrick Road and Augusta Road, about a half-mile east of Highway 25, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

Toney was wearing a seat belt, Evans said.

He said an autopsy will be performed Wednesday to see if a medical condition contributed to the wreck.

The truck was on its side and off the side of the road, but McKittrick Road was closed in both directions for hours.

There was no word on the company operating the dump truck.
