SMITHFIELD, RI : Motorcycle rider killed in Smithfield crash on Thursday, 14th March 2024

A North Providence man died Thursday following a crash in Smithfield.

Smithfield police said a motorcycle and a vehicle collided around 2:45 p.m. in the area of 360 Farnum Pike.

The motorcycle rider, identified as 65-year-old Shell Ferris, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

No other injuries were reported.
