A motorcyclist is in critical condition after he hit a car that pulled in front of him Friday night in Manatee County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. The report says the 61-year-old man was traveling eastbound on 38th Avenue East on his 2006 Yamaha motorcycle at 10:50 p.m. when a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Jennifer Riesenberger, 45, of Sarasota pulled in front of him after being stopped at the stop sign facing north on 37th Street East. The motorcycle collided with the Honda. The driver was reported to be in critical condition at Blake Medical Center. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
