Princeville,HI :Kuhio Highway closed and some people injured after critical crash on Monday evening ,September 14th 2015

Kuhio Highway on Kauai is shut down in both directions near the Princeville airport.

Around 8 p.m. Monday evening, officials say a three car crash left people with critical injuries.

The highway closure is expected to last a few more hours.

There are no alternate routes, and police are advising drivers to avoid the area until the road can be reopened.
