RIGA TWP, MI : Woman dies in Yankee Road crash on Saturday, October, 7th 2017

A Toledo woman was killed during the weekend in a single-car accident on Yankee Road in Lenawee County, southwest of Ottawa Lake, and weather may have played a role in the crash.

The Michigan State Police of the Monroe post reported that Tiffany Lynn Shaw, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred around 11:50 p.m. Saturday on Yankee Rd. east of Riga Highway in Riga Township. Troopers reported that Shaw was heading east on Yankee in a 2007 Ford Five Hundred when she lost control.
