Anamosa, IA : Woman killed in Jones County crash on Highway 151 near Anamosa on Wednesday, October 29, 2014

Authorities say a 79-year-old woman died after her car collided with a semi-trailer truck on an eastern Iowa highway. Cedar Rapids television station reports that emergency crews responded the scene on Highway 151 near Anamosa around 5 p.m. Wednesday. The Iowa State Patrol says Mary Goldsmith of Anamosa died after she failed to yield at an intersection to an oncoming semi, which broadsided her car. Authorities say the semi driver was hurt.
