Texarkana, AR : One person injures in car crash on Saturday night August 8th 2015

The child hit by a car Saturday night on State Line Ave. in Texarkana has been released from the hospital.
According to Texarkana, AR police, officers were called to the 3700 block of N. State Line Ave. for a report of an auto accident involving a pedestrian.
Officers arrived to find that a vehicle traveling northbound on N. State Line Ave struck a child that had suddenly run into the roadway.
Officers learned that the parents took the child to Wadley hospital for medical attention and has since been released. Police have not detailed the extent of the child's injuries, whose sex and age have not been released.
Police say the family was at the Pizza Hut on State Line when it happened, and that the parents were not in a club as was rumored following the accident.
