Sacramento, CA : Car crashing into big rig snarls Cajon Pass traffic on April, wednesday 19th 2017

A crash between a car and a big rig momentarily snarled traffic for the afternoon commute on the northbound 15 Freeway near the Highway 138 interchange.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m. a red Mazda four-door sedan rear-ended a big rig, according to the California Highway Patrol incident website.

The big rig was reportedly dragging the car while trying to make it over to the shoulder just north of the interchange.

It’s unclear if there were any injuries resulting from the crash, but all lanes were reported open at 3:40 p.m., according to the CHP traffic information site
