Genevieve County, MO : Baby girl dies in I-55 car crash that injured five others in Ste. Genevieve County, Mo. on Wednesday, 26th December 2018
Five people were injured and a 1-year-old girl died Wednesday when an SUV struck a rocky bluff off Interstate 55 in Ste. Genevieve County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Robert Jackson, 26, of North Little Rock, Ark. was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander northbound when it veered off the highway around 4:25 p.m., killing Paris Jackson, 1, also of North Little Rock, the patrol said.
Robert Jackson was taken to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries. Another child, Azariah Jackson, 5, was seriously injured and airlifted to St. Louis Children's Hospital. Passionate Mosley, 35, Passion Mosley, 13, and Kumaryi Peory, 1, were taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries, according to the accident report.
None of the passengers were wearing seat belts or using car seats, according to the highway patrol.
