A woman drove off of Interstate 77 and crashed into a creek in Iredell County Monday morning.
The Iredell County Sheriff's Office says it happened around 6:30 a.m. off of I-77 at mile marker 59.
Troopers say Tina Parks, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, ran of the median and down an embankment before going into the creek.
Troopers believe Parks fell asleep and say they don't believe drugs or alcohol were factors.
Parks went to Davis Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
