Knoxville, TN : 1 person dead in wrong-way crash in Loudon County on May 25th 2014

One person is dead and others were injured in a crash on Interstate 75 in Loudon County early Saturday morning.

Loudon County dispatch says that a call came in at around 3 a.m. reporting a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction near the I-40 and I-75 split.

At least four vehicles were involved in the crash.

Authorities shut down parts of I-75 for several hours while crews cleaned up the wreckage.

The names and conditions of the victims have not been released.
