WESTON TOWNSHIP, OH : Driver who died after crashing into a semi in Wood Co identified on Monday, 7th October 2024

A driver who died following a two-vehicle crash in Wood County Monday afternoon has been identified.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office says on Oct. 7 around 3:43 p.m., a Chevrolet pick-up truck was traveling south on Range Line Road toward US 6 when it failed to stop at a stop sign. The truck then traveled onto US 6 and crashed into a semi tractor-trailer which was traveling eastbound.

According to WCSO, the pick-up truck then became lodged under the semi before catching on fire.
