Pittsburgh, PA : 22-year-old killed in Washington County crash on Friday September 23 2016

A 22-year-old man was killed in a Washington County crash early Friday.

State police said Jacob A. Klinger, of Eighty Four, was traveling east on Route 40 in the Scenery Hill section of North Bethlehem around 2:30 a.m. when he failed to navigate a turn in the road and his vehicle veered off the roadway, striking a metal sign. The crash occurred just west of Route 40’s intersection with Valleyview Road.

A passing motorist saw the vehicle and called 911. Mr. Klinger was pronounced dead at 3:19 a.m.
