Plainview, TX : Weekend motorcycle crash kills local man on Sunday, November 20th, 2016

A 38-year-old Plainview man, Justin Rodgers, died Sunday from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash at Wolfforth.
Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. John Gonzalez reported that the mishap occurred at 6:15 p.m. Sunday on FM 179 (Inler Avenue) just north of 146th Street on the southwest edge of Wolfforth.
According to Gonzalez, the motorcycle was traveling north on FM 179 when Rodgers lost control of the vehicle and was ejected.
Rodgers was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock, where he later died from his injuries.
DPS is continuing its investigation into the crash, Gonzalez said.
