Raleigh, N.C : Police charge driver after 3 passengers die in Raleigh crash early Sunday, August 21, 2016
Raleigh police have charged a man with the death of three people riding inside his vehicle when it crashed and flipped.
Police say two passengers were ejected from the vehicle early Sunday.
Officers say 22-year-old Jaciel Espino-Montes of Goldsboro was charged with three counts of aggravated felony death by motor vehicle, three counts of aggravated serious injury by motor vehicle and driving while impaired.
A police report says Espino-Montes’s vehicle was carrying six passengers in their teens and 20s when it slammed into a light pole and overturned.
