Rock County,WI : No injuries in fiery Interstate crash in Rock County on May,Thursday 31st 2018

No one was injured or killed Thursday afternoon after two semi trucks collided on I39/90 near Beloit.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP) , the crash happened at 2:46 p.m. A semi truck was merging into traffic from the emergency shoulder on the northbound Interstate lanes near milepost 180 when another semi crashed into it.

The rear semi was jackknifing, when it hit a concrete barrier and caught fire. According to WSP, the power unit caught fire.

The northbound lanes were closed for nearly four hours as authorities cleared the area. The lanes reopened at 6:30 p.m.
