Memphis,TN : Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash on April, wednesday 3rd 2017

Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash on Interstate 55.

Memphis Police Department said the crash caused a tractor trailer to jackknife, trapping two people in their cars.

One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Two people were taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

The crash happened on I-55 near Brooks Road and Winchester Road.

I-55 northbound was closed for nearly two hours after the crash, but has since been reopened.
