Richland County, SC : Driver dies after crash on Garners Ferry Road in Richland County on Tuesday, 17th September 2024

A driver is dead after a collision in Richland County on September 15, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Authorities say the collision occurred around 4:50 p.m. on Garners Ferry Road.

A Honda sedan was heading north on Congaree Road and tried to turn left onto Garners Ferry Road when it was hit by a Toyota SUV traveling east on Garners Ferry Road.

The driver of the Honda was taken to a local hospital where they later died due to their injuries.
