Atlanta ,GA : Two Atlanta police officers injuredafter cruisers crash Wednesday night ,july 22 2015

Two police officers are recovering after being injured in a car crash in northwest Atlanta.

Police department spokesman Ralph Woolfolk tells local media the wreck involved two police cruisers that crashed on the southbound ramp from Martin Luther King Drive Drive onto Interstate 285 on Wednesday night.

WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1IkfOF1) reports that both officers were released from Grady Memorial Hospital on Thursday morning.

Woolfolk says the officers were alert, conscious and breathing when they were taken to the hospital.

It is not clear whether any other cars were involved.
