GLENVILLE, NY : Driver cited in Glenville crash near Airport Road and Route 50 on Tuesday, 11th December 2018
The driver injured in a crash Tuesday on Freeman's Bridge Road is now facing charges, police said Wednesday.
Robert Kennedy, 21, of Glenville, was initially believed to be seriously injured in the crash, but his injuries turned out to be non-life-threatening, Glenville Police Lt. Michael Petroski said.
The crash happened at around 12:30 p.m., near Airport Road and Route 50.
Kennedy, driving a Jeep Cherokee, turned left from Route 50 and onto Freeman's Bridge Road as a second driver, Michael Kinns, 48, of Schuylerville, turned onto Airport Road, Petroski said.
The impact happened as Kennedy went through the stop light and into Kinns' path, Petroski said. Kinns was not injured.
Police cited Kennedy for failing to obey a traffic control device, failing to wear a seat belt and driving with a suspended license, Petroski said
